The Motel was built in the early 1980's on what was then the only road into the Gold coast.

It has seen many managers and  a few owners over the years but for the last 12 years has been own by a family local to the gold coast.

From 2011 the Managers were Vicki & Glen Peebles who passed on the Business to Terana & Brad in Feb 2014 who then passed over to us in August of 2016.

Location.

2 mins away from the Broadwater and local Restaurants and Bars. Hing Chinese restaurant is over the road and Pizza Face along the street all with minutes from the motel. A chemist is also in the parade along with Brains Barbers and a Doctors.

Labrador Park has Coles, Hairdressers. Chemist and a few restaurants an Cafes.

Located in Hollywell Road is the Metro market, with IGA inside, Bendigo bank, Cafe UNO and one of the best Mexican restaurants on the coast the Pickled cactus.

A laundry mat, Chemists & Lottery outlet plus Bottle shop, Butchers, Thai, Kebabs and Fish n chips all there.

We have a fantastic beach, with a safe area to swim. There is a children play area and Charris seafood for the local catch of the day.

The Grand Hotel.

With a noble history of Sunday seshing stretching back to 1884, The Grand Hotel is a great place to go, with Karaoke on Mondays, Poker on Wednesday or simply enjoy a frothy beverage any day of the week. With a gaming area and typical pub grub you can't go wrong. The Grand also has 2 other restaurants Kokonut Willys and 3 Sixty, and with a drive through bottle shop attached you can walk back to the motel and enjoy a six pack outside you room or by the pool.
